Ness Exhibition
Opening Monday, March 21st 2022

A new Exhibition of my work opens at Ness historical society on Monday 21st March and will run through Spring and Summer.  Open 10·30am to 4·00pm Monday to Friday at present – but may be open Saturday during Summer.  (Watch this space for updates.)  The cafe is now also open.

Gathered together for the first time are nine new paintings and 18 large framed prints of Ness district, completed over the years.  All works are for sale.  These original works will appear on the website but will only be available for purchase at The Historical Society for the duration of the exhibition.  Any unsold works will then be available to purchase online on the close of the show.

Visitors are welcome to visit my studio at Upper Coll to view artworks for sale all year round by appointment.  My telephone number is 01851-820-201 or should you wish to e-mail then contact me at info@im-hebrideanart.co.uk.  Directions to my studio are as follows:

On the road to Tolsta drive a mile past Tong on the main road and you will see a white Dacia Renault garage.  Directly opposite is a housing scheme called Gearraidh Ghuirm.  As you drive in you will see a white garage directly in front of you belonging to nº7.  I live in nº8 directly next door.  Both buildings are whitewashed.  There is a sign saying hebrideanart on the fence pointing to my studio and home and coloured buoys beneath at the entrance to my drive.

(December 2019:)  I have decided to release for sale a few of the drawings and paintings completed while an art student at Edinburgh College of Art between 1987 and 1991.  This is a rare opportunity to purchase some early works previously unseen.

Prints of most of the pictures (including most of those already sold) can be ordered at various sizes.  If you would like to commission a work, please see the buying advice page.

Venues:  My pictures are on display in several locations around Lewis and Harris.  See the list of venues.
