Portnaguran Ruined Crofthouse

My fascination with old crofthouses continues.  This one with its interesting extension has now been sadly demolished.  The fact that the roof had fallen in seemed to add to the power of the composition, as did the dramatic winter light.  Portnaguran sits on the tail end of the peninsula known as Point on the East side of Lewis and is quite densely populated.  It has great sea views on either side.
